Recommended Maintenance for Stained Wood Door

These materials can be purchased at Home Depot, Lowe’s or perhaps at your local Farrell-Calhoun or Sherwin Williams Paint Store.

Materials Needed:

1. 220 Grit Sandpape

2. One Quart of polyurethane

3. Mineral Spirts

4. Paintbrush ( 2″or 3″)

Procedure:

This procedure should take approximately one hour.

1. Sand door

2. Dust door off

2. Apply coat of polyurethane

3. Wash brush with mineral spirits

4. Let the door dry

This procedure should be performed every six months (or as often as needed) in order for a genuine look and added longevity.
