Wood Door Maintenance

This procedure should be completed as often as necessary in order to maintain a genuine look and added longevity…at least once per year.

Materials:

• 220 Grit Sandpaper
• One quart varnish
• Mineral spirits
• 2″ or 3″ paintbrush

*All materials can be purchased at Farrell-Calhoun or Sherwin Williams.

Procedure:

• Prop door open
• Sand door
• Dust door
• Apply coat of varnish
• Clean brush in mineral spirits

*It is important to make sure the door is completely dry before closing.
