Media Room
Thanks to all of you with the media who helped deliver the message for volunteers and assistance when we needed it. There was a extreme amount of positive articles written both about the family and the building of their dream home. All media, radio, TV, newspaper and internet sources, were instrumental in providing great coverage of the event and are to be commended for the accuracy of the stories. Thank you.
Extreme Home Makeover and Shoemaker Homes have lost someone that meant a lot to us. In February of 2007 Shoemaker Homes, with the help of its sub- contractors and many volunteers, build a home for Sabrena Jones and her 3 children. With much sadness we must tell you that Sabrena died 12/18/2009 following surgery. She was but 47 years old.
Sabrena has gone to heaven to be our angel now. Please pray for her family as she did for us every day since we met her almost 3 years ago.
Many are asking how they can help with the Jones Family:
Food: may be taken to their home @ 307 W. Jasper, Brandon.
Contributions for family expenses: contact Christy Eaves @ 601-992-8929
Scholarship contributions for Marjiya (5th grade): contact Josh Dorman at University Christian School (contributions may be done after the Christmas)
Contributions for Christmas: contact Carla Nicks @ 601-906-8577.
Thank you all for your love and support for this special family.
